Fees

Our fees are set at or below the recommended guidelines established by the respective regulatory bodies. Fees vary depending on the service and the practitioner. Please contact us directly to find out more about our fees.

Please note that our services are not covered by OHIP, although some extended health care plans do cover (all or a portion of) our services. Please check with your insurance provider to see if you have coverage for services, and which of our clinicians are covered by your plan (psychology, psychotherapy, or social work).

Fees are due at the end of each session. Fees can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, debit, or cash. A receipt will be provided upon payment, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do not provide direct billing at this time.

Please note that 1-hour sessions usually end at 50 minutes to allow time for updating your records, scoring tests, planning for your next session, and securing your information.

Related services such phone calls or requests for additional documentation or letters will be billed at your clinician’s standard rate, in 15-minute intervals.

COVID-19 NOTICE: Due to the ongoing health concerns related to Covid-19, all consultations, counselling, and psychotherapy sessions are being performed online. Payment is limited to credit card (VISA, MasterCard), and electronic transfer for virtual services.

Personal Health Information collected from you is used only for the purpose collected (assessment, diagnosis, care or treatment). All your information is kept confidential, and confidentiality can only be breached in specific circumstances, which will be discussed with you at your first meeting. Information is kept in secure locations, and all electronic information is protected and encrypted. If you have questions about privacy or confidentiality, please ask.

Please note that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed if you choose to communicate via email. However, every effort will be made to protect the confidentiality of your information to the extent possible by restricting access to email accounts and password-protecting electronic documents. Please limit personal and confidential information sent via email. If you choose to send us information via email, you do so acknowledging these risks.

Our clinicians do not accept friend requests or any other type of online social networking connections with former or current clients. This is to protect your confidentiality and our respective privacy. Please avoid contacting your clinician via text messaging or through messaging services on social networking sites (such as Facebook or LinkedIn) as these are not secure sites and your confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. The best method of contact is via phone, or through a direct email account (for information that is not confidential).

Every effort is made to include you every step of the way, and to ensure you understand and are comfortable with all procedures. If you have any questions or concerns about our services, please contact your clinician directly and your concerns will be addressed in a respectful and timely manner. You may also contact the clinic director if you are not able to resolve your concerns with your clinician.
