Alanna Fiore

M.Psy., Psychoeducational Consultant (Children & Teens)

Alanna Fiore holds an M.Psy. Clinical Psychology degree and is pursuing registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).

She has experience as a psychoeducational consultant completing psychoeducational assessments for the York Region District School Board, as well as in private practice. At CASE Psychology, Alanna provides psychoeducational assessment and consultation services for children and adolescents under the supervision of the clinic director, Sarah Husain (Registered Psychologist).

Alanna works with neurodiverse children and teens to identify strengths and challenges, and to recommend personalized strategies and practical supports to maximize academic success and overall wellbeing. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, inclusive, and trauma-informed.

Therapeutically, Alanna supports individuals with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, learning disabilities, social and emotional difficulties, and life transitions, with a focus on fostering resilience and empowering clients to reach their full potential. She uses an integrative approach drawing from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

When she's not working, Alanna is likely in the kitchen cooking or baking something new, adding "just one more" plant to her already full collection, or curling up with a good book to end the day.
