Océane Tran is a registered social worker in Ontario with a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto. She has extensive experience providing psychotherapy and counselling to preschoolers, children, teens, parents, and families within a child & youth mental health setting. She provides psychotherapy and counselling in English and French.
Océane is committed to supporting children, adolescents, and their families as they move through challenging times. She provides treatment for a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, selective mutism, obsessions and compulsions, self-harm, neurodiversity, emotion regulation, self-esteem, family communication, parenting, peer challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, acute trauma, and developmental trauma.
Océane aims to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for exploration, healing, and growth. Her clinical framework is grounded in child development, attachment, and trauma theories, and she is experienced in various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Attachment Focused Family Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Her approach is always trauma sensitive, flexible, and tailored to each client's needs.
